Personally, I love decorating my home with things that bring my heart happiness rather than matching a magazine. I'm working on updating my home currently and have found a lot of great things on Amazon to really showcase my love of all things Austen.

I recommend starting with a vibrant rug. There are hundreds, if not thousands, to choose from. But I like going a little more traditional and elegant.

Statues are very Austen-esque. Does this one remind you of something? The real version of this is located in Chatsworth House in Derbyshire (AKA 2005 Pemberley)

Personally, I prefer pastel colors for flowers because it seems more Austen-esque to me. That could be because of how media portrays that era, but the muted tones of sage and coral brings me life.

It might seem strange to include things like outlet covers, but changing something so simple can add a touch of elegance to your home. I have these in my cart currently and I'm going to install them in every switch and outlet cover.

Books, books, and more books! And pretend books! These are soo cute and would look really good on a shelf dedicated to Austen decor. They're also useful, since they're boxes.

Floral curtains are essential Austen decor, in my opinion. But drapes are truly difficult to choose. Here is a nice option that isn't too dramatic.
